Individual sessions are tailored to fit your unique goals, cultivating connectedness with mind, body, community, and spirit. Thorough clinical assessments are provided to formulate appropriate treatments plans in partnership with you.
We will focus on improving communication and cultivating compassionate curiosity to nurture and develop you and your partner’s validation skills in whatever stage of the relationship, paving the path toward setting common goals.
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
An evidenced based therapy, DBT teaches you skills to effectively manage life’s difficulties. From Mindfulness, to Interpersonal Effectiveness, to Emotion Regulation, to Distress Tolerance, Wanda will seamlessly integrate DBT in your individual sessions.
DBT Group Therapy
Each module will be taught for 5 week intervals on a year round basis. Wanda will expertly integrate crucial skills for you to learn, practice and apply, into a warm and enriching community experience.
Therapeutic Support Groups
From Women’s Groups to Parenting Groups, to Teen Groups, opportunities to practice the skills of communicating and acting with compassion unfold as Wanda cultivates a place to be supported and validated. Ask Wanda about her current groups.
Wanda is extending her work into the field of Substance Abuse, especially in the areas of education and prevention for teens and support for family members of those struggling with substance use. She has recently facilitated and established a successful group therapy program at Arbour Counseling Services for teens and adults and has partnered with Tri-County Regional Technical High School to provide substance abuse prevention and education counseling for adolescents.
